Reconnecting with Nature

Reconnecting people with nature is one of the goals of the BogLIFE project. Letting nature into our lives brings an array of benefits for our physical and mental wellbeing.

Whether it is a walk in a local wild place, time spent painting, drawing or photographing nature, these activities are known to bring relaxation and help lift our mood when we are down and help maintain good spirits generally. You can do all of these activities at the Marches Mosses. There’s nowhere better in the area for relaxing, experiencing the peace and tranquillity under the wide open skies of the Mosses. It’s one of the things that makes the Mosses magical – the sense of renewal walking on peatland that was 10,000 years in the making.
