Walk with Stephen Barlow
A family friendly walk led by photographer Stephen Barlow to get familiar with the Mosses and learn what exciting things there are to see at this time of year. Stephen will be sharing many interesting facts throughout the walk about the many species of plants, animals and fungi that inhabit the Mosses. You’ll enjoy this late summer walk around the 9000 year old bog.
Aim to park at the Manor House Base for 1:30pm, since the walk will start promptly at 2pm. There is a toilet present at the base so it is advised to use it before the walk begins. Please bring your own refreshments, and also dress appropriately for the weather with sturdy and suitable footwear. For those with limited mobility, please note that the walk will be along rough terrain, and therefore may not be suitable.
